How to Loss Weight easily
By: http://www.skybluecross.com
Uncover the five simple steps to stopping the madness and finally getting on
track to consistent weight loss. Get the full picture of the path you will take
and build your accountability team to make sure you get there.
If you are carrying around a few (I use that term loosely) extra pounds like
most of us are, you all know all the reasons why we should take the weight off.
It will reduce stress on our heart, reducing the chance of heart disease,
cancer, possibility of diabetes; feel better, look more attractive, etc.
There are 101 reasons why, but it can be a real pain to finally get that weight
off. You push really hard, make a little progress, get side tracked, and bam you
are heavier then you started.
It’s maddening. Enough with that hassle, I have put together 5 simple steps to
actually losing weight and keeping it off. These steps can be applied to
anything, but we are focusing on weight loss here.
1. Know What You Want
2. Know Where You Are
3. Track Your Results
4. Make Course Corrections
5. Being held Accountable
Now all your extra weight will effortlessly melt off. Yeah right! A simple list
of 5 items is not going to do it, so let me explain the intricacies of the 5
items and where the hang up normally occurs when applied to losing weight.
1. Know What You Want
This one is dead simple. Most people that want to lose weight have an idea of
how many pounds they would like to lose or how they would like their body to
look.
I think we can safely say if your body started looking the way you wanted it,
you would know, even if you didn’t have it completely mapped out and detailed.
2. Know Where You Are
This is the big trip up. It is almost always overlooked and is the number one
reason for the up and down Yo Yo effect we experience with losing weight. We are
unhappy with how our body feels and how it looks and it is painful to zoom in
and get an accurate picture of where we are. Unfortunately, we have to know
where we are, to be able to accurately judge the results we are getting.
You are on a trip to San Diego, California. You would like to start your trip
from Phoenix, Arizona, but you really don’t know where you are. No problem. You
get an Arizona/California map and find that a simple 6 hours trip west on
interstate 8 will get you to San Diego.
6 hours later, you have no clue where you are and it is definitely not warm San
Diego. You feel defeated and you want to give up! Do you blame the car? The
stupid maps? San Diego? Yourself?
Now what if I told you, you were actually in New Your City, not Phoenix,
Arizona. A 6 hour car ride west from New York City will never get you to San
Diego.
If you took the time to accurately find out where you were, you would have been
able to choose the appropriate means to get to San Diego and have an expectation
as to how long it would take.
This is the same with weight loss and our personal physical condition. In our
minds, we think we are starting in a different physical condition then we really
are. When the results don’t follow the illusion in your mind, we get upset.
3. Track Your Results
This is conceptually simple. If we have no clue as to WHAT we are doing, how do
we know what is working? It might be a simple to do, but is also simple not to
do. In the end, most people never track their results.
4. Make Course Corrections
We love to do this one. We have it hands down. It is like step 1 of knowing what
you want. We try the new food diet, the super sit up machine, and the cardio hip
hop power energy yoga fat burner class.
We might be great at switching it up, but without knowing where we are starting
from and a history of tracked results, we have no clue as to what we should
change or even which direction we should go.
5. Being held Accountable
No, not accountability! That is an evil word. I don’t want someone to know what
I am doing, or more importantly what I am not doing.
So, why do we resist accountability, your secret weapon to weight loss? Because
it works! If you know someone is going to be watching, you would follow through
or at least feel very uncomfortable not following through.
Accountability when used wisely is the ultimate turbo booster to your weight
loss. Since you are going to be accountable anyway, you might as well get
something out of it.
Using accountability up front, you can achieve the body of your dreams. If you
let your body hold you accountable, it will throw on fat in places you don’t
want it to be.
The biggest obstacle to weight loss is not taking any action. It doesn’t matter
how good the plan is, it is worthless if you don’t follow it. So what do I do
now?
First and foremost get Accountable.
Forward this article to someone you respect and care about and tell them I want
to be accountable to finally taking off my extra pounds. When they agree to
support you, start working through Steps 1 – 5.

7 Ways to Make Alkaline Diet Benefit You
7 Ways to Make Alkaline Diet Benefit You
http://www.skybluecross.com
Discover 7 easy tips you can use in your daily life to help your body balance itself back to alkaline balance and experience better overall health.
The premise of an alkaline diet is that the nutrients found in supplements, alkalizing foods, and water can bring the body back to balance. These vitamins, minerals, and herbs infuse the body with new energy, vitality, and better health.
Alkaline foods and water must be consumed in order to provide nutrients the body needs to neutralize acids and toxins in the blood, lymph, tissues, and cells.
When pH balance inside the body is ‘out of balance’ the body tries to correct that sensitive pH balance. That process shows up as uncomfortable symptoms, including colds, flues, allergies, diseases, viruses, and bacteria.
When the pH level in our body is unbalanced, almost any area of the body can be affected. For example when the nervous system is effected as the result of unbalanced pH balance it shows up in the form of the depression. When cardiovascular system is effected we could have heart disease or experience other heart-related problems, including thickening and hardening of the arteries, coronary heard disease, pain or discomfort in the chest, stroke, high blood pressure, and heart failure. When muscles are effected we often feel fatigue and lack of energy. When skin is effected by improper pH balance we age quicker than normal.
When the body’s pH level is in balance, the body reaches ideal weight and corrects negative health challenges naturally.
Transition to a more alkaline healthy diet requires a shift in attitude towards food. The important point to remember is that small changes go a long way. Add more alkaline foods to your diet gradually.
7 Sure-fire ways to make alkaline diet benefit you:
1) Reduce the consumption of sugar and products made from sugar, including soda pop, pies, ice cream, jello, jams & jellies, artificial juices, puddings, doughnuts, corn syrups, chewing gum, sweetened drinks, cookies, breakfast cereals, liqueurs, mixed drinks.
2) Avoid processed foods and condiments including ketchup, salad dressings, pickles, luncheon meats, canned fruits, breads, relish, cheese dips, peanut butter, prepared seafood, frozen vegetables, crackers, canned soups, hot dogs, sausages, sweetened yogurt.
3) Avoid cooking and heating foods and drinks in microwave.
4) Avoid dairy, meats, fried foods and fast foods.
5) Increase your consumption of raw vegetables and raw fresh fruits (without sugar). You should include raw vegetables in every meal. If your breakfast is so small that you only eat toast or cereal, stop eating toast and take fresh fruits or vegetable juices instead. If your lunches are usually consist of sandwiches try to substitute it with a raw salad or a vegetable juice. Have a large salad before you eat a heavy entree at dinner. This way, you will be sure to eat all of the salad instead of finding yourself too full to finish it.
6) Grains form the base of a balanced diet and are important in maintaining the alkaline balance in the body. Grains are great source of vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients, including folic acid, fiber, carbohydrates antioxidants and phytoestrogens. The Department of Food and Science and Nutrition at University of MInnesota determined that consumption of whole grains reduces the risk of chronic diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease. By eating grains you can eat less but feel full. Grains should comprise about 20% of your diet.
7) Don't forget to hydrate. Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of good quality of water each day. Add liquid minerals to increase the quality of water.
If you follow these easy 7 steps it will allow you to create the proper alkaline balance within your body.
Creating the proper alkaline balance within your body will bring you increased quality of life. You'll start seeing immediate improvements in your health. Your energy will increase, your concentration will be stronger. You'll build strength, stamina, and resistance to diseases. Your entire body will function more efficiently just like it was meant to do.

Vitamin C ------The Versatile Antioxidant Vitamin
Vitamin C ------The Versatile Antioxidant Vitamin
By: http://www.skybluecross.com
Vitamin C as an antioxidant, helps reduce the activity of free radicals, by products of normal metabolism which nonetheless can damage cells and set the stage for aging, degeneration, and cancer. This article provides information on the many benefits of Vitamin C as an antioxidant.
Slice an apple into half, and it turns brown. A copper penny suddenly becomes green, or an iron nail when left outside, will rust. What do all these events have in common? These are examples of a process called oxidation. If the sliced apple is dipped in a lemon juice, however, the rate at which the apple turns brown is slowed. It is because the Vitamin C in the lemon juice slows the rate of oxidative damage.
Since its discovery 65 years ago, vitamin C has come to be known as a “wonder worker.” Because of its role in collagen formation and other life-sustaining functions, Vitamin C serves as a key immune system nutrient and a potent free-radical fighter. This double-duty nutrient has been shown to prevent many illnesses, from everyday ailments such as the common cold to devastating diseases such as cancer.
The water-soluble vitamin C is known in the scientific world as ascorbic acid, a term that actually means “without scurvy.” We depend on ascorbic acid for many aspects of our biochemical functioning; yet human beings are among only a handful of animal species that cannot produce their own supply of vitamin C. Like these other animals, including primates and guinea pigs, we have no choice but to obtain this nutrient through food or our daily diet.
Vitamin C can enhance the body's resistance from different diseases, including infections and certain types of cancer. It strengthens and protects the immune system by stimulating the activity of antibodies and immune system cells such as phagocytes and neutrophils.
Vitamin C, as an antioxidant, helps reduce the activity of free radicals. Free radicals are by-products of normal metabolism which can damage cells and set the stage for aging, degeneration, and cancer. It shouldn’t come as any surprise that vitamin C is being used for cancer treatment. In large doses, Vitamin C is sometimes administered intravenously as part of cancer treatment.
Vitamin C prevents free radical damage in the lungs and may even help to protect the central nervous system from such damage. Free radicals are molecules with an unpaired electron. In this state, they're highly reactive and destructive to everything that gets in their way. Although free radicals have been implicated in many diseases, they are actually a part of the body chemistry.
As an antioxidant, vitamin C's primary role is to neutralize free radicals. Since ascorbic acid is water soluble, it can work both inside and outside the cells to combat free radical damage. Vitamin C is an excellent source of electrons; therefore, it “can donate electrons to free radicals such as hydroxyl and superoxide radicals and quench their reactivity.”

How to Avoid a Heart Attack
How to Avoid a Heart Attack
http://www.skybluecross.com/
A heart attack is known as a myocardial infarction. This occurs when the heart muscle is damaged or does not receive enough oxygen. Many cardiac related problems occur due to blockages in arteries that carry purified blood away from the heart to different parts of the body. Another cause is the formation of blood clots.
A heart attack is known as a myocardial infarction. This occurs when the heart muscle is damaged or does not receive enough oxygen. Many cardiac related problems occur due to blockages in arteries that carry purified blood away from the heart to different parts of the body. Another cause is the formation of blood clots.
Very often, it is quite difficult to differentiate between a heart attack and heartburn. The common signs of a heart attack are a tightness, pain, or discomfort in the chest. Sweating, nausea, and vomiting that are accompanied by intense pressure in the chest. A radiating and intense pain in the chest that extends from the chest to the left arm. A shortness of breath for more than a few minutes. If you have any of the above you must consult the doctor or go to the emergency rooms.
If you even think you are having a heart attack you must call for a cardiac care ambulance, and put under your tongue a sorbitrate or chew an aspirin. If you are allergic to aspirin don’t take one. At the hospital care will include rapid thrombolysis, cardiac catheterization, and angioplasty. They will also administer intravenously clot busting medications.
The risk factors for a heart attack include: smoking, diabetes, high levels of cholesterol, hypertension, family history of heart diseases, atherosclerosis, lack of exercise, obesity, and fast foods.
Reduce the risks of a heart attack by:
1. Quitting smoking.
2. Eating healthy. Avoid fatty foods, excess salt, and red meats.
3. Controlling high blood pressure and diabetes.
4. Ensuring regular exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Walking is most beneficial.
5. Preventing obesity. Doing all you can to maintain weight.
6. Choosing to live a healthy lifestyle.
7. Practicing meditation.
8. Doing regular relaxation and breathing exercises.
9. Undergoing periodic cardiac evaluations.
10. Including foods that are rich in anti-oxidants in your diet.
A killer disease, according to the American Heart Association approximately 58.8 million people in the US suffer from heart diseases. And, about 950,000 Americans die of heart ailments each year. Heart diseases and death from it can be prevented by maintaining your health. Find a balance in life between work and other activities, abandon the couch for the outdoors, don’t watch sports on television play sports instead and you can hope to live a long and fulfilled life.

Mexico Vacation Packages
Mexico Vacation Packages
By: http://www.northamericabase.com/
Mexico vacation packages are the perfect way to get away from it all. When I took my first Mexican vacation, I had pretty simple and hedonistic interests. I was 21 at the time, and looking to party my spring break away. Like thousands of people from America and all over the world, I went down to Cancun and drank night and day. I got to swim, sunbathe, dance, and do everything else that makes the life of the young so enjoyable. It was a great time.
What I didn't realize was that Mexican vacations have so much else to offer. When I got a little bit older, I looked you up Mexico vacation packages on a whim. It was about two years ago, and I was looking for somewhere new to go. We used to go down to Charleston South Carolina almost every single year, and spend the summer hanging out on the beach. Mexico sounded like an interesting change. The dollar was pretty strong, so we knew we would be able to have quite a bit of top quality recreation for low amount of money.
We found a Mexico vacation package that let us travel all over. Mexico is a huge country with many different destinations, so it can be pretty difficult to decide on just one place. If you have a couple weeks, however, you can get a taste of each Mexican state. We got to see the mountainous regions and look off over beautiful scenic vistas. We got to explore Mayan ruins and the last remnants of Aztec civilization. We got to travel around Mexico City and see a thriving metropolis very different from American cities back home. And of course, we got to spend a lot of time on the beach, just bathing in the sun.
One of the biggest mistakes people make buying Mexico vacation packages is to think of Mexico as one destination. It really isn't. My family have a variety of interests. For us, it makes sense to travel around, but for some people it doesn't. If your idea of the perfect vacation is to be pampered and entertained while relaxing by the ocean, you should try a Mexican beach resort. If, on the other hand, you want to really get a feeling for local culture, consider going to somewhere more remote. There are thousands of different destinations open, so you can really let your imagination run wild when picking out Mexico vacation packages. Just remember to research your destination before you actually go there. It might look good in the pictures but still not be quite the right destination for you.

It is not just chefs but also medical researchers who are praising the benefits of white tea for your health. In fact there are many different kinds of benefit of white tea that a person can have and we will look at some people. But first we will provide you with a brief explanation as to what white tea is. It is made from the immature tea leaves that will be picked before the buds have fully opened on the plant. The name comes from the silver fuzz which still covers the buds and this in turn then turns the tea white as it dries. There are many different varieties of white tea available and this all depends on the amount of leaves to buds that are used in each mixture. The White Peony for example has one bud for every 2 leaves in its mixture whilst Silver Needles (the crème de la crème) is made entirely from the down buds and these are normally picked within a 2 day period during early Spring.
So we have now looked at what White Tea is we will now go on to the different benefits a person can gain from using this particular product.
1. Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial Effects
Studies carried out at Pace University have indicated that White Tea extract may have prophylactic applications which can help to retard the growth of bacteria which can cause Staphylococcus infections, Steptococcus infections, Pneumonia and Dental Caries. It was also found that White Tea is more effective than Green Tea at inactivating bacterial viruses as well as having an anti-viral effect on human pathogenic viruses.
2. Anti-Fungal Effect
There have been studies carried out which indicate that this has an anti-fungal effect on Penicillium Chrysogenum and Saccharomyces Cerervisiae. It was found that in the presence of White Tea extract these were totally inactivated.
3. Skin Cancer and Cell Damage Protection
Scientists have now found that the White Tea extract can protect against the Langerhans cell obliteration. It was found that not only the extract protected skin after exposure to sunlight but also a person's immune system was restored also.

3. Skin Cancer and Cell Damage Protection
Scientists have now found that the White Tea extract can protect against the Langerhans cell obliteration. It was found that not only the extract protected skin after exposure to sunlight but also a person's immune system was restored also. They also found that the DNA damage which occurs to cells after exposure to sunlight was limited.
